This class was a wonderful way to improve on the limited sign language I had, and prepare me for the next level. Cynthia is a wonderful teacher and you can tell how much she cares about the subject.

I am enjoying the class. Cynthia makes it fun to learn. I also like the online videos and having the course online. It allows me to go at an individual pace and it allows me to practice, practice, and practice.

Thank you for your incouragement. It was an honor to see you learn so much in such a short time.

You’ll be learning a lot in a short period of time. It is fast paced so you’ll need to be prepared to and review regularly. Watching different people’s sign is helpful because you’ll get to see the variations. Just as people talk differently, people sign differently.

So proud of you that when you finished, you knew so much!

This was a wonderful course. I have been learning ASL on my own through Youtube. With my work school I couldn’t attend a traditional ASL class. I enjoyed how the class was presented and how the material was explained. My son who is deaf and knows ASL enjoyed watching over my shoulder and telling me he understood. I truly recommend this class for anyone that is wanting to learn ASL. I have family members waiting for the next class to start. I’m excited to start Course 2.

We are thrilled that this online course has been such a benefit to you and your family. What an amazing mother you are to take time to learn to communicate with your son.

Hi Cynthia! Just wanted to let you know that today at the store, I ran into a lady who was deaf and I was so excited that I understood everything she was saying! I said hi to her and told her I knew a little sign. Just thought I would share with you. You are a great teacher and I’ve learned so much these past 5 weeks! My whole family, even my toddler started signing now and it’s so awesome that we can learn ASL together as a family. Can’t wait to start part 2!! 🙂

Learning is super easy! Showing up and watching the videos are the hardest part. ?one of the most cost effective professional development courses I have taken

This class is awesome! Cynthia takes her time to make sure you understand in class. The majority of the class is online so you can review at your own pace. She also comes early to class so you can ask questions and clarify signs if needed. She also provides information where you can go to use what you learn.

Things were not always well explained for the beginners. I needed it slow!!!!
Cynthia Long –
Hi Robert, thanks for the feedback. Sign Language can be a rewarding and challenging language to learn. That is why we did our course with videos so you can go back and review as much as you wanted. To slow down videos, we teach everyone that there is a “slow mode” gear to help anyone who needs a little help. The instructions for this are in one of the first videos in the introduction to course section. As always, the best way to learn is to start signing with deaf people. They will be thrilled you are learning.

This course was very helpful! I learned way more than I expected and enjoyed the course!
